terumot and maaserot

Question

I purchased some unpitted dates, they are produce of Israel and they say "Kosher for Passover" on them. It does not say what organization considers it kosher. Can I trust that all of the proper terumot and maaserot were taken? If not what should be done? I would also appreciate, if you have the time, the siman in shulchan aruch where the halacha would be found. Thank you, Yehuda

In Israel there are multiple Rabbinic organizations taking Terumot & Maasrot. If by some chance your product slipped through that, you still have a Safek (doubt) that it was grown in areas not part of Eretz Yisrael. It's fine. Terumot & Maasrot are near the end of Yoreh Deah. AA
